We only hire the best of the best and we conduct intensive background checks before hiring each prospective employee. That is needed to ensure that every pet is treated with the love and respect they deserve.
Anne is a native of Mobile, but has lived in Daphne for the last 17 years with her husband, son and two daughters. She is a life-long dog owner and currently shares her home with two dogs and a cat…Jingles, Dixie and Pudy. She’s a graduate of McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and has a bachelor’s degree from The University of South Alabama. Anne has spent many years working professionally and understands how important it is for pet owners to have an alternative to kenneling

Lauryn is from Colorado! She has always had a lot of pets ranging from dogs and cats to turtles and gerbils. Since her grandparents owned a farm, she was always helping and caring for lots of animals. Lauryn got her own first dog 2 years ago and says “She’s my best friend!” We are happy to have Lauryn on our team of professionals!
Christy is a native of Atlanta, GA, but moved to the Gulf Coast 25 years ago. She grew up with animals in the house and continued that after her marriage with several cats over the years, and now has 2 dogs. After raising her boys she is now sharing her love of animals with her extended family of clients at The Furry Godmother. Welcome to the team, Christy!
Gaye is originally from Mobile and attended the University of Mississippi and the University of South Alabama. She has spent many years working as a counselor and physical therapist in both clinical and home settings. She happily currently resides in Baldwin County and enjoys kayaking, golfing gardening and volunteering for several local ministries. Gaye says, “My mother taught me well to love to the best of my ability, and I try to carry that into each day, taking care of people, animals, and paying close attention to all of Gods creations.” We are happy to have Gaye as a member of our awesome team!
Jasmine has been a veterinary assistant for the past five years and a periodic pet sitter. Presently, she is studying as a veterinary nursing student while continuing her work as a veterinary assistant. She is pet first aid and CPR trained and is perfect for clients with pets having special medical needs. In her words, “I would love to be the comfort for your pet while you’re off enjoying your trip!”. We at the Furry Godmother are excited to have Jasmine on our team!
Introducing Taylor, a lifelong resident of Alabama’s Gulf Coast, who brings over three years of experience as a pet care specialist at PetSmart. With a deep-seated passion for animals, she has expertise that spans a wide range of pets, from dogs and cats to fish and small animals.
At home, Taylor’s commitment to animal care is evident in her five cherished pet rats: Waffle, Peanut, Willow, Boo, and Hazel. Beyond her personal life, she plays an integral role in her father’s successful fish-breeding business.
Taylor is excited to contribute her knowledge and unwavering dedication to The Furry Godmother team. Together, we aim to provide exceptional care for customers’ beloved pets and foster a community that celebrates the companionship of animals.

Ragan has a diverse background, having worked in radio, personal cheffing, massage therapy, and pet care. She has had family pets her whole life, and loves spending time with them and making sure that they are happy and healthy. Ragan also has experience working at a busy veterinarian clinic. She and her husband and three girls have 2 dogs and 4 cats in their family, and she treats your pets with the same love and attention! We are happy to have Ragan on our team!
